IPL 2022 Fastest Bowler: SRH captain Ken Williamson praises pace sensation Umran Malik, says – ‘He bowled well’
The SRH captain said that despite the five-wicket defeat against GT at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai, he took positive aspects from their game. He also praised captain Shashank Singh, who hit a quick 25 off six balls with a four and three sixes to take the Sunrisers to 195/6.
“It was a great game of cricket that flowed over 40 overs, it was a game of very fine intervals. Could have gone anyway, but great learning for us. Another strong performance at the top of the table though. It was a great finish by Shashank Singh, he played beautifully. To the credit of Gujarat that they have played exceptionally well, we will take something positive from this game. Ken Williamson said in the post-match presentation.

The Titans topped, but SRH pacer Omran Malik dominated the title after taking five wickets. The young Jammu and Kashmir pacer picked up all the wickets in the Titans’ innings on a pitch that was not for fast bowlers.
“He (the owner) bowled beautifully, his extraordinary performance. If you are not on the money, the ball can fly anywhere. He (Rashid) has already done it in this tournament, and he has done it again. We have a lot to learn, but it happens in two strong ways. He (Jansen) will bounce back nicely, there have been a lot of games like this. “Sometimes you blow them away in a better way, their (Gujarat’s) achievement that they played exceptionally well.” He added.
Riddhiman Saha’s half-century and Rahul Tewatia and Rashid Khan’s fiery cameos led the Gujarat Titans to a thrilling five-wicket win over Sunrisers Hyderabad at the Wankhede Stadium here on Wednesday.
The high scoring match was decided at the end of the last over. Rashid and Tewatia completely outscored Hyderabad’s Omran Malik by five runs with 31 runs and 40 runs respectively.
