Umesh Yadav can count for the Indian team due to his exceptional form. He has done light work of quality batsmen against Punjab Kings (PBKS), Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK). He has been the most deadly in powerplay overs. With injured Deepak Chahar dropped for 4 months, Umesh Yadav could get a chance to own his place in Indian cricket.

Express speed
Umesh Yadav is capable of bowling at a continuous speed of 34 at 140kmph which makes him a deadly weapon in T20 cricket. He can bowl a few overs in the powerplay to save Shami and Bumrah for the Death Over (16-20) without compromise. He has taken more than 50+ wickets in Powerplay in 127 IPL matches.
Experience
Umesh Yadav has played 52 Tests and 82 limited overs matches for India, taking 275 wickets. He can deliver under pressure and can keep the bowlers on his chin with bouncers as he pleases. Shami and Bumrah as well as his powerplay overs can throw the opponent into an unexpected situation as any one of these pacers can blow up any standard batting lineup in their day.
