Lots of runs in the last over – when Going into the last over, SRH was thinking of 180 runs and Lucky Ferguson bowled. However, the man of the moment Shashank Singh had another idea as he hit Lucky Ferguson three sixes in a row to take the score to 195/6 and give the innings a proper finish. Everyone in the SRH dressing room applauded Shashanka’s gratitude as he applauded. In the last over, a total of 25 runs came.
Who is Shashank Singh? – Born in Mumbai, Shashank played for Chhattisgarh in the domestic circuit and qualified for Mumbai and Pondicherry before making his debut for the Vijay Hazare Trophy in the 2015-16 season. Shashank has previous IPL experience and in 2017 Delhi Daredevils bought him for Rs 10 lakh. Shashank then moved to Rajasthan Royals (RR) in 2019 and in the same year he started representing Chhattisgarh in the Ranji Trophy.

So far in the IPL- Emerging as a destructive cult hero around the park, Shashanka did not contribute much to the cause of the party until the end of Lucky Ferguson. This was his sixth match in the IPL for SRH and he did not get a single chance to bat when his lone spell in the IPL saw him finish 10/0 against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR).
Shashank Singh is now hoping for a better IPL as he tries to contribute more through his batting and bowling performance.
