1. Yuzbendra Chahal: The RCB will be anxious to retain or not follow Yuzbendra Chahal. The experienced leg-spinner has rebuilt his form, taking the Purple Cap with 11 wickets in 5 matches so far. With 4 wickets against LSG, he topped the list ahead of KKR’s Umesh Yadav and DC’s Kuldeep Yadav.

Who gets the purple cap? – When the IPL started in 2008, the purple cap was introduced, which would be given to the highest wicket taker of the tournament. Throughout the season, the holder of the purple cap will change and whoever is at the top of the wicket-taker list once the season is over will receive a prize in a replica of the purple cap. He will also be given Rs 10 lakh as a reward.
