To take on the role of Pain Coaching – “Tim was a great leader in the program and I wish him well wherever he (his future) goes, whether it’s playing or outside of cricket.” Jeff Vaughn, who has a five-year contract to work as a coach in the men’s program, said.
“I think (Payne) got the coaching certificate, a coaching skill set. I haven’t talked to him about this for some time. I know coaching was something he said after his career. We still don’t understand when post-career, Vaughan added.

What was the controversy? – Tim Payne stepped down as captain of the Australian Test team following the resurgence of the sexting scandal. Payne exchanged sex graphics and pornographic messages with a female colleague in 2017. Payne was later cleared by Cricket Australia and Cricket Tasmania.
