Why is Saina Nehwal dissatisfied with BAI and trial? Saina Nehwal, a two-time Commonwealth Games gold medalist, is dissatisfied with the Indian Badminton Association. He alleged that BAI deliberately wanted to remove him from the Indian team. He questioned the timing of the trial selection for the CWG and the Asian Games.
“I was surprised to see all the articles about my CWG title and not wanting to defend my Asiad medal. I am not taking part in the trial because I have just returned from a 3 week European event and the Asian Championships are on schedule. “ Saina tweeted.
“Within 2 weeks, as a senior player, it is impossible to participate non-stop in a back-to-back event and it is risky for injury, such short notice is not possible. I reported it to BAI but got no response from them. Looks like they’re happy to get me out of CWG n Asiad, ” He added.
