ATK Mohun Bagan, however, may miss the services of key players – Roy Krishna and Sandesh Jhingan. Fijian taker forward Krishna is dealing with a personal tragedy – the death of a close relative – and may return home, while Jhingan is suffering from trauma.

This will be the first AFC Cup match for Mohun Bagan under their new coach Juan Ferrando as they look forward to a fresh start after exiting the inter-zone semifinals in the last edition. This will be ATKMB’s first AFC Cup match since the Uzbek team lost 0-6 to FC Nasaf in the inter-zone play-off semifinals on September 22, 2021.
But under new coach Ferrando, who took charge in the middle of the ISL and helped them stay third in the table, ATKMB will look for a fresh start. A win on Tuesday will seal the play-off berth for ATK Mohun Bagan.
