Malik’s father Abdul Rashid is very happy with his son’s performance in IPL.
“He bowled really well. There is a lot to learn there (IPL). He hasn’t done well in two matches and people talk about how fast bowling doesn’t mean everything. However, no one is born to master all his skills. He learns these. There are great players like Dale Steyn (SRH bowling coach) who have taught him a lot about bowling. Now the whole country is showing love to him, saying that he is the future of India. Rashid told ANI.

Rashid hopes his son will soon represent the national team in international cricket wearing a blue jersey.
Regarding his son’s performance against the Gujarat Titans, against which he took five wickets, Rashid said, “We were watching the match, people were also watching. They told him that they had come to see him bowling. It was heartbreaking to know how many names he had for himself. He works so hard. We are all happy. “
In this praise, his coach Randhir Singh Ranjan is very optimistic about the possibility of his students representing India at the highest level.
“In the first three matches, his economy was on the rise. He adapted well to the next five matches, bowling the line and the length used in Test matches. I wouldn’t be surprised if he plays in a format with the South African T20, the England tour and the Ireland tour. Ranjan said this while talking to ANI.

Regarding his bowling speed, the coach said that Malik was always a very fast bowler, although no gadget was available to measure his speed.
“We were assured that his speed was above 140 kilometers per hour. Last year, he bowled 2-3 bowlers which reached the limit of 150. He will only improve with time, age is in his favor. He says that if God hopes, he will bowl at a speed of 155 kilometers per hour. It will not be a big deal for him if he continues to work like this. ” He added.
Referring to how former captain Sourav Ganguly emphasized the need for a pool of fast bowlers to win matches abroad, Ranjan believes that India has got a great real fast bowler for the future.
“Today, we have a great pool of fast bowlers. Every team in the IPL has great bowlers. He added.
Regarding the comparison of Indian fast bowlers with Pakistan, a country known for producing some of the best fast bowlers in the game, Ranjan said that comparisons are not very surprising due to the general geography and diet of North Indian and Pakistani regions like Punjab and Rawalpindi. “More fast bowlers will come from Jammu. He (Omran) even said that there are bowlers bowling above 140, “he added.

By the grace of God he will prosper and make his family and country proud. He will soon be bowling at a speed of 155 kmph. He added.
