Asian Badminton Championship Live: Sony Sports Network is ready for the upcoming repeat broadcast of Badminton Asia Championship 2022. The tournament, which returns after a two-year hiatus, will be held between April 26, 2022 and May 2, 2022. Under the two-year agreement, for the 2022 and 2023 seasons, the network will have exclusive TV and digital rights to the tournament and will broadcast events in India and the subcontinent, including Pakistan, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Maldives, Nepal and Sri Lanka. Asian Badminton Championship Live: Sony Sports Network India Broadcast Badminton Asia Championship 2022
The tournament will be televised between April 29, 2022 and May 1, 2022, with matches starting April 29 at 1:30 pm and the remaining two days starting at 10:30 am. The high-octane matches will be available on the Sony TEN 2 channel, as well as live-streamed on Sony Picture’s Networks’ on-demand OTT platform SonyLIV.
The Badminton Asia Championships, the renamed version of the Asian Badminton Championships, will return in 2022 after being canceled in 2020 and 2021 due to the ongoing COVID-19 epidemic. Organized by the Philippines, the tournament will feature some of the biggest names in Asian badminton circles in Manila. Kidambi Srikkanth will represent India in the men’s singles event, PV Sindhu and Saina Nehwal will represent the country in the women’s singles. The men’s doubles will feature prominent Indian pairings like Sattviksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Sethi, Arjun MR and Dhruv Kapila and Krishna Prasad Garaga and Vishnuvardhan Gaur Panjala. The women’s doubles will feature Simran Singhi with Ritika Thackeray and witness Indian participation in the mixed doubles tournament with Ishan Bhatnagar and Tanisha Crasto and Venkat Gaurab Prasad and Juhi Dewangan.
