Stephen Fleming’s remarks after the SRH encounter: Fleming said after his side’s eight-wicket defeat against the Sunrisers, “there are problems with the availability of players and we were down in the batting, bowling and fielding – all the same.”

Bad start to the season Ruturaj started promoting IPL 2022 on a bad note, was dismissed for zero against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), then he was dismissed for 1, 1, 16 and 17 as he scored only 35 runs in five innings. Ruturaj’s lack of form was a major concern for management as CSK won just one of their first five games.
CSK and Ruturaj are looking to change fortunes – Both Ruturaj and CSK will now be looking to change their fortunes to get to the table in the IPL. Currently in ninth place, a win would be a welcome addition to CSK as Ruturaj tries to get back into the debate for the Orange Cap he won last season. If this proves to be the starting point, CSK and Ruturaj are destined to change fortunes.
