According to The Sun, Cristiano Ronaldo’s hat-trick triggered a bonus in his contract which meant Man United star Norwich won Rs 8 crore (£ 850,000) after his heroism. Ronaldo’s contract includes a কোটি 7 million (£ 750,000) bonus for reaching 20 goals and a further কোটি 1 million (£ 100,000) for his hat-trick strike.
Ronaldo is Man United’s top scorer this season and if he stays that way until the end of the season, he will earn around 100 million (£ 1 million). The 37-year-old is almost certain to achieve it, with his next best rival, Bruno Fernandez, scoring 12 goals to his name. In addition, if Ronaldo scores 30 goals this season, he will receive a total payment of 26 crore rupees (£ 2.75 million).
