VALORANT UPDATE: Riot Games has released gameplay continuity updates for VALORANT. Riot Games is here with a quick update of the investigation that they are going from game to game inconsistency. They are still actively working on it and this is one of their top priorities for the team. When it comes to reporting inconsistent warfare, these are the main themes we hear from some of you:
- “Even though my network is stable, I’m experiencing different amounts of delays from one game to another.”
- “It seems like other players can respond to me quickly / slowly from one game to the next.”
- “I feel very disconnected when I play VALORANT. In some games I’m a one-tapping headshot, but in the next game it happens to me. “
- “I feel an unfair advantage to high ping players when peeking at me compared to low ping players.”

There are many factors that influence how you feel about fighting from one match to the next, but you can divide them into two main categories: “Individual player performance” and “Competitive integrity (fairness).”
IThe performance of the individual player acknowledges that the state of the flow is one thing. When players are in the zone, they gain a higher level of focus where their play feel / awareness increases, their reaction time decreases and their flick lands with high accuracy. Continuity in performance is something that high-skilled players strive to improve through training and practice, But most of the players perform inconsistently in and around the match.
To complicate matters further, Your opponent’s skill level and flow status directly affect your own perceived performance. If that enemy jet senses it, its low response time and high accuracy cannot be distinguished from having more time to line up a shot due to a network advantage.
