Benzema’s hat-trick helped Carlo Ancelotti’s team lead the tie at Stamford Bridge a few weeks later in a similar round against Paris Saint-Germain in the Round of 16.
Chelsea FC have suffered a major setback in their upcoming clash with Real Madrid as the English team will be without the services of their Belgian striker, Romelu Lukaku. The all-important quarter-final tie against the Spanish team, Lukaku’s absent manager Thomas Tuchel has confirmed that Lukaku has not recovered from his injury and therefore will not be able to play in the UEFA Champions League.
