The announcement was made during a “request for expression of interest” related to the T20 tournament to be held in October, a statement said.
PCB chief Ramiz Rajas was excited about Pakistan’s move to host the first International League of Junior Cricketers.
“I am thrilled and excited that after a few days of hard work and planning, we have today released the document of interest for the Pakistan Junior League, the first international league in the world, the first edition of which we are planning. Will be held in October this year. Reza gave this information quoting the press release.
“The PCB will create a bright environment with player coverage in the role of legend and icon of the game as mentors and coaches sitting in the player dug-out and broadcast coverage from the top draw.” He added.
“The PJL PCB Junior Pathways program is seamlessly integrated where PCB, through a strategic partnership, has awarded contracts to the 100 best cricketers who will now receive coaching, training at a five-star institution and PKR30K monthly stipends from foreign experts.” He signed off.

Pakistan Junior League (PJL) objective
- A young beginner can be molded into a talent with the right environment, which is what we want to create in this format.
- Initiatives like PJL are to create opportunities for cricketers, identify talents, develop them as world class players and close the gap between domestic and international cricket.
- The PSL has already helped Pakistan cricket reach new heights, reaching the final of the Pakistan Twenty20 World Cup last year.
PCB seeks interest from teams: Title Sponsorship, Live-Streaming, Category Sponsorship, Team Franchise.
Interested parties are invited to download the Interest Form from the PCB website under the Documents / Pakistan Junior League and to email their completed EOIs to [email protected] before 26 April 2022.
