The incident happened during the eight overs of the innings. Just before that, Umran Malik took the wicket of Shubhaman Gill with a great delivery which broke the stumps.
Angered at that wicket, Hardik Pandya was greeted with a straight 145kph speed bouncer which completely surprised the Gujarat Titans captain. He suffered a shoulder injury and was in pain. It didn’t look good for a brief moment, especially since Pandya has a history of injuries.

However, the captain took some time to play the next ball and hit the mid-off boundary to give a proper response to the Jammu and Kashmir pacer. That delivery was bolded at a speed of 152 kmph.
When Omran returned to bowl in the next over, Hardik was able to hit the boundary again at Misfield. However, the pacer had the last laugh as he outscored Pandya in the next delivery with a bouncer that hit Marco Janssen directly in the short third man.
