Thomas Tuchel, Zinedine Zidane was considered manager
According to ESPNUnited briefly considered Leicester City’s Brendon Rogers before being dropped from the top 10 of the Premier League table and were interested in Mauricio Pochettino, but were worried that Real Madrid would jump for the Paris Saint-Germain boss.
ESPN The shortlist of the final four includes Ten Hague, Pochettino, Spain boss Luis Enrique and Sevilla manager Julen Lopetegui.
The other four are believed to be Bayern Munich’s Julian Nagelsman, Chelsea’s Thomas Tuchel, Rogers and former Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane, following the sacking of Ole Gunnar Solskare in November.
Jualin Nagelsman was the most expensive managerial transfer to date when he left Arab Leipzig for 22 22 million in July and joined rival Chelsea after the sacking of Frank Lampard.

Zinedine Zidane was an option before, but he could apply for a role in the French national team or Ligue 1 team Paris Saint-Germain. Luis Enrique had to be dropped as he only focused on preparations for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar in November and Lopetegui feared to be ‘another Unai Emery’.
Tuchel was also considered for sale to owner Roman Abramovich’s club following official sanctions over his ties to Russian President Vladimir Putin, who led the Ukraine invasion, but Chelsea was ruled out.
Regarding Zidane’s rumors about him joining Manchester United in June, Pochettino said: “I don’t know, the decision is not up to me. Zidane is a great coach, that’s for sure. Also, he is French, ”he said @ Elargueru. 3 #PSG

In both Pochettino and Ten Hague finals, Real Madrid were a real threat to Pochettino’s head instead of Carlo Ancelotti this summer and the French team could demand a huge compensation fee for PSG Pochettino as his contract does not expire until the summer of 2023.
