Formula 1: The plastic chair where Lewis Hamilton sat was sold for 50,000 rupees. In one of the most bizarre events, a plastic chair where seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton sat was auctioned off for around 50,000. The Mercedes driver was seen sitting on a tool when he and his teammate George Russell traveled to Malaysia to meet their main sponsor, Petronas, as part of the Welcome Home program. At a petrol station in Kuala Lumpur, Hamilton sat in a plastic chair to rest. However, locals nearby saw Hamilton sitting on a stool and decided to auction it off on an e-commerce website.

As a way for stool sellers to prove the authenticity of the plastic chair, Lima Bintang Auto Parts folds the chair to preserve the S Formula 1 driver’s butt prints.

On the e-commerce website, the chair was listed as a rare time and it brought a maximum price of around 525 pounds which is around 50,000 rupees.

In a short time, it is understood that Lewis Hamilton has developed a good friendship with his fellow driver George Russell. Russell, who drove for Williams three years ago, replaced Valerie Botas in a Mercedes as the Finnish driver joined Alfa Romeo this season.

After George Russell’s first podium finish in a Mercedes suit, Lewis Hamilton took young Brits to surf in Melbourne. The six-time world champion also promised to take his young fellow driver in skydiving.

It was a relatively happy weekend for Mercedes at the Australian Grand Prix last weekend. George Russell is third and Lewis Hamilton is fourth. All in all, the F1 2022 season was not a great start for both Mercedes and Lewis Hamilton.

Mercedes has been struggling with their promising problems since their pre-season test in Barcelona. Hamilton finished third in the Bahrain Grand Prix, tenth in Saudi Arabia and fourth in Australia.

Lewis Hamilton is fifth in the driver’s position with 28 points, and George Russell is in second place with 37 points. Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc currently tops the driver’s position with 71 points after winning in Bahrain and Australia and finishing second in Jeddah.

Defending world champion Max Verstappen has made a disastrous start to the season. He has 2 DNFs in 3 starters. He is sixth in the driver’s championship after winning in Jeddah.

The next race will be held in Italy. The Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix kicks off on April 22 and the race is scheduled for April 24.
