Mercedes is now second behind Ferrari in the constructor’s position and 10 points ahead of the Red Bull. Although speed was a problem for Mercedes, the car was quite reliable for Lewis Hamilton and George Russell who could finish their race.

The Red Bulls have had one season disaster so far with their car reliability issues. Defending champion Max Verstappen has 2 BNFs to his name in 3 races this season, his teammate Sergio Perez also has a DNF to his name.
Although Mercedes has struggled with their car mainly due to porposing problems, they are currently behind Ferrari who have done a great job in the first three races. Charles Leclerc is currently leading the drivers ‘championship, with Mercedes’ George Russell taking second place.
Hamilton, who met with his main sponsor Petronas during a visit to Singapore on Sunday, said: “I’ll just make sure we don’t put in any workouts, make sure the appetite really exists, and we’re maximizing every moment.”
“So I would have a lot of zoom, chasing those in the wind tunnel, arrow friends, just looking at each single area. “We need to achieve performance in areas we know and we need it now, not in two or three races, we all know as a team,” he said. He added.
“I just have to keep that enthusiasm, that strength. I will also be in the simulator preparing for the next race. “

Hamilton is looking forward to a Mercedes fight
Lewis Hamilton is currently fifth in the Drivers’ Championship. With 21 points below his number, he is one place above Max Verstappen. However, Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc has a 43-point lead over Britain and is nine points ahead of teammate George Russell Hamilton.
“There is a lot of work, a lot of calls. Naturally, I have a lot of travel, ”Hamilton added.
