After Chetan Sakaria and Akshar Patel gave a shake at the start of KKR, Kuldeep Yadav confirmed that his former team was crushed by a great bowling performance at the Wankhede Stadium on Thursday. Kuldeep sent his debutant father Indrajith back in his first over, trapping Sunil Narine in the first ball to see KKR fall to 35/4.
Rishabh Pant’s stunning low catch knocked out the KKR captain, breaking an emerging partnership between Shreyas Iyer and Nitish Rana, who came to his side again. He followed it up with a nice delivery to Fox Andre Russell, who played on a completely wrong line and gave the pants easy stumping behind the stumps.
