Rahul fails to impress – The talented right-handed batter is in great form this season, second only to Jos Butler in the Orange Cap standings. After his last dismissal against his former team PBKS, Rahul has 374 runs in nine innings, including two centuries. The funny thing is that he has also been out for zero runs twice. Rahul’s average in IPL 2022 is 53.42 and his strike rate is also impressive which falls to 143.84. His latest failure could now see Jos Butler take advantage and increase his leadership.
Why did PBKS release L Rahul? – Although there was a lot of hype and build-up surrounding Rahul’s performance, his relationship with the franchise was also a matter of controversy. Rahul breaks silence The former PBKS captain told the media before the start of the season, “I’ve been with them for four years and I’ve had great runs with them.
