IPL 2022 – New Zealand Cricket Awards: The Black Caps pace bowler team has crowned a great season by winning the Sir Richard Hadley Medal at the Saudi New Zealand Cricket Awards. The 33-year-old took the award for the first time as a reward for his consistency with the red and white ball. The Saudis have taken 36 Test wickets at 23.88 in recent seasons and are happy to have won. “Dignified Award”.
“It’s a great honor to win such a prestigious award.” Saudi was speaking from KKR camp.
“Like most cricketers, I knew everything about Sir Richard’s exploitation and it is very humble to win his award this year.

IPL 2022: KKR pacer Tim Saudi wins Sir Richard Hadley Medal for New Zealand Cricketer of the Year
New Zealand Cricket Award – Sir Richard Hadley Medal: The Saudis are third on the Blackcaps’ list of all-time Test wickets, with 337. He is behind Dan Vettori (361) and Great Hadley (431).
He was a winner on the 3rd day of the NZC Awards, including Devon Conway as International Test Player of the Year.
The Saudis took 36 Test wickets at 23.88, including six for 43 against England at Lord’s and five crucial wickets against India in the final of the ICC World Test Championship in Southampton.
“While the compliments are excellent, I think it really reflects the way we worked together as a group and played our cricket for a long time.
“It’s great to be a part of this time and to be able to win games for our country which is something very special.”
Conway won the Test Player of the Year award after making his debut against England at Lord’s with a double century and scoring two more centuries in the season, scoring 767 runs at 63.91.
Moments of excellence were also honored on the final day – including the rare feat of Ajaz Patel taking all ten wickets in an innings against India, the selection of Kane Williamson and Kyle Jamieson for the 2021 ICC Test team and the ICC Spirit of Cricket Award for Daryl Mitchell.
