IPL 2022: Shreyas Iyer has a simple message – Iyer believes a few defeats haven’t hit the team hard. The right-handed batsman believes that even with six matches in hand, they can rise to the top at the right time. “You know the part of the game and the parcel results and of course the way we prepare as a team is just outstanding. “People went into the hard yard to see if we could win the match.” Iyer said.

KKR will play their ninth match against DC on Thursday (April 28). KKR, led by Shreyas Iyer, has won just three of its eight matches. With the top four teams consolidating their power at the top, like GT, RR, LSG, and SRH, KKR will have to start winning the remaining six matches to reach the playoffs.
Captain Iyer was not in the run as he liked. With their backs against the wall, the right-handed batter would prefer to lead from the front.
