Rajasthan Royals – Joss Butler – Orange Cap holder Jos Butler has been the main contributor to his team this season with 499 runs. More importantly, RR has scored 1475 runs in the IPL so far and 35 per cent of Butler’s 499 runs.
The multi-talented Englishman has scored 300 runs in the IPL 2022 season and reaching the play-offs would be a huge number for RR. Sanju Samson and Schmiron Hetmeyer finished second and third, respectively, with a slightly higher contribution of 16%.
Delhi Capitals – Earth Shaw The team from the capital has yet to win the IPL and will have to see the first title in their rankings with Prithvi Shaw and David Warner. Although Prithvi is the highest scorer of the team, he has scored 254 runs, which is 22.46 percent of the runs scored by DC.
In total, DC has scored 1199 runs in the IPL 2022 season as runs like David Warner (219 runs) and Rishabh Pant (188 runs) have also played a huge role.
Kolkata Knight Riders – Shreyas Iyer- The two-time champions have gone under the radar in recent times, but have not failed to impress captain Shreyas Iyer. Shreyas has scored 248 runs in the tournament, which is 20.43 per cent of the runs scored by KKR. The former champions have scored 1268 runs in the IPL while they are struggling to keep pace in the top four. Andre Russell is the second highest contributor to the team’s overall list with 18.70 percent.

Punjab Kings – Dhawan & Livingstone – Punjab have been battling for form in recent times but Liam Livingstone and Shikhar Dhawan are pillars for the team. Shikhar and Livingstone have contributed 43 per cent of the runs for PBKS and Shikhar is already looking for the Orange Cap with over 300 runs. Shikhar contributed 23.69 per cent of the runs for PBKS and Liam Livingstone contributed 19.22 with the bat, scoring 245 runs out of 1275 runs.
Lucknow Super Giants – KL Rahul- The Indian opener has been shooting all cylinders for the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) throughout the tournament and is second in the Orange Cap Tally with 368 runs. LSG has scored 1375 runs in the tournament, which is 26.94 percent of LSG’s run. Quinton de Kock scored 225 runs and contributed 17.07 percent of the runs for LSG.

Gujarat Titans – Hardik Pandya- Gujarat Titans are one of the most successful teams in the Indian Premier League (IPL) this season. The Titans have scored 1324 runs in the IPL so far, with the lion’s share coming from captain Hardik Pandya. The GT captain scored 305 of the 1324 runs scored by GT, which is 26.27 per cent of the team’s run, which is more than a quarter of the team’s run.
Sunrisers Hyderabad – Abhishek Sharma- The unrisers Hyderabad (SRH) started slow after losing the first two matches, but have had a huge attraction since then with five wins in a row. Abhishek Sharma scored 285 runs and SRH scored 1224 runs. Abhishek’s run tally is 24.61 per cent, while teammate Aiden Markram is also not far behind with 246 runs in the ongoing IPL campaign with a contribution of 21.24 per cent.

Royal Challengers Bangalore – Faf du Plessis- The RCB franchise has been unpredictable at times, consistently winning and losing, although captain Faf has contributed to the team. RCB is the highest scorer of Faf with 26 runs out of 1406 runs this season. Faf contributed 21.34 percent of the runs scored by RCB. Surprisingly, Virat Kohli is not in form, it is the experienced Indian Dinesh Karthik who is second on the list with 216 runs and 16.58 per cent count.
Mumbai Indians – Tilak Burma – Mumbai Indians (MI) have endured a tough time in the current IPL campaign as they are still looking for their first win of the season. Not Rohit, not Ishan, not Kieron but unknown Tilak Verma has contributed 262 runs in eight matches. His score is 21.61 per cent out of 1313 runs scored by MI in a bad campaign for five-time champions.
Chennai Super Kings – Dubey and Rayudu – Defending champions CSK have also had a tough time this season after having big boys like Ruturaj Gaikwad and Faf du Plessis last season. This time they have Shivam Dubey who batted with 247 runs, contributing 19.49 per cent of the runs. Overall CSK has 1338 runs, Ambati Rayudu is also not far behind with 246 runs and a contribution of 19.42 per cent.
