CSK got their fourth wicket after captain Rabindra Jadeja sent Riddhiman Saha back to the pavilion. David Miller picked up his half-century in the 12th over as CSK leaked 19 runs in that over. With the pace for Gujarat, Dwayne Bravo changed the tide of the game by bowling an exciting maiden-wicket over. Bravo dismissed Rahul Tewatia in that over.
Rashid Khan then joined David Miller at the crease and the pair saw a tough episode without losing a wicket. With 48 runs needed in the last 18 deliveries, Rashid became ballistic in Chris Jordan’s 18th over as the stand-in captain hit three sixes and a four. Gujarat scored 25 runs in that over.
Bravo dismissed Rashid Khan and Aljari Joseph in the last over but it was too late as Miller took his team home with a ball in the last over.
