The 31-year-old batsman joined Markram and the pair started hitting KKR bowlers in every corner of the field. Tripathi hit his half century off just 21 balls and gave SRH great momentum.
Markram, on the other hand, played a steady innings and the pair over 100 runs to SRH in just 11 overs. KKR finally breathed a sigh of relief when Russell dismissed Tripathi, who was caught by Venkatesh Iyer after scoring 61 off 36 balls.
Nicholas came to the crease with Puran Markram and kept the scoreboard moving for SRH. The latter hit his half-century off 31 balls and hit two sixes in the back and gave his side the win with 13 balls to spare.
