Why did the ICC reject the offer? The proposal for a quadrilateral T20 event gained some support before Ramiz’s official presentation.

According to various sources, several boards supported the idea during the Chief Executive Committee (CEC) meeting on Friday. Cricket boards in England (ECB), Australia (CA), West Indies (CWI) and Pakistan (PCB) were reportedly in favor.

But during the board meeting, the board members unanimously rejected the proposal.

What do the ICC event rules say? According to ICC rules, “Any tournament involving national delegations from more than three national cricket federations” An ICC event is supposed to mean.

This means it is managed by the ICC and sold commercially as an ICC event. This means that all income from such commercial activities is shared among the members.

The plan calls for India and Pakistan to play regularly and for eight full members to be dropped.

Due to this the plan did not get the green signal.
