Hardik Pandya is enjoying his time in the current edition of IPL. Having suffered an injury and not being able to bowl in the last two editions, he took a break from international cricket after the T20 World Cup and worked on his fitness and is now bowling his full quota over in every game. Apart from that, his batting form has also improved as he has taken on a new role for his franchise by batting at No. 4.

Since finishing his time with the Mumbai Indians and the Indian cricket team, he has taken on this new role and is doing it effectively. He now has 141 runs in four innings at a strike rate of 122.6.
As a captain, he is currently the only captain who has not lost a single match in the tournament as his team has won three matches and found itself in second place in the points table.
