Gujarat are now at the top of the table with four wins in five games and Hardik is currently second in the list of run-scorers and bowling well in every game.
“The way he (Hardik) has led the team, the way he has maintained the team environment, on and off the field is still amazing.” Rashid said this at a post-match virtual press conference.

“Hardik is a man who always makes bold decisions,” said Rashid.

“He (Hardik) is the one who always makes that bold decision, always has confidence and he is the one who is very clear about what he is going to do.
“As a captain it’s important when your mind is clear, and you make the right decision, the outcome will take care of itself.” Rashid added.
Rashid thinks the ability to make the right decisions at the right time makes him a good leader.
“You make the right decision with confidence, it’s something that makes him the best and he’s been delivering the best so far and leading from the front – (be it batting, bowling and fielding).” Said Rashid.
