IPL 2022 Commentary Team – Suresh Raina IPL comeback: Mr. IPL Suresh Raina will not stay away from IPL for long. The former vice-captain of Chennai Super Kings will be seen in the new incarnation. He will make his debut as a commentator during the IPL and will team up with former Indian coach Ravi Shastri in Star Sports’ Hindi commentary team.
For the first time in the history of IPL, no franchise has selected Suresh Raina in the auction. The Chennai Super Kings dropped him, whom he called home for 12 seasons. But according to a report in the Daily Jagran, Suresh Raina is ready to return to the IPL in a new incarnation.
Star Sports has added a former Indian batsman for Hindi commentary. He will be seen in action in the commentary box with Robi Shastri, who will return after his 7 years of coaching stunt with Team India.
After CSK was dropped, Suresh Raina was linked with a move to Gujarat Titans but franchise officials declined any offer for him after the auction.
