Big announcement – Viacom18 on Friday announced the launch of Sports 18, the network’s dedicated sports broadcasting channel. Pay-TV channels, available on SD and HD, will offer fans the best-in-class sports content in India.
Major sports covered – In addition to major selections in the world of football, basketball, tennis, cricket and badminton, the channel will give fans access to top programming covering international sports news, magazines and highlight shows.

The 22nd edition of the tournament kicks off on November 21, 2022, when Qatar – the reigning Asian champions – take their FIFA World Cup bows in the first match of the tournament at the stunning 60,000-seat Al Bayt Stadium in Al Khor.

World Cup in Qatar on Viacom18 – Significantly, Qatar will host the most compact version of the tournament in modern history. All eight stadiums are within 50 kilometers of central Dohar, while fans, players and officials will be housed in one accommodation throughout the event, which culminates with the final on December 18, 2022 at the 80,000-seat Lusail Stadium – also Qatar’s National Day.
