IPL 2022: Deepak Chahar’s back problem hits CSK due to his long absence
Chahar’s first quadriceps tear was caught during the white ball series against the West Indies. It is unknown at this time what he will do after leaving the post. Later scans revealed that it would take 4-6 weeks. Chahar, however, was quick with his recovery and returned to the NCA earlier than expected.
He has spent more than a month at the NCA with fitness experts. The right-arm pacer also bowled and made good pace. However, in the final stages of rehabilitation, Chahar regained his back problem and was eventually ruled out of cricket for four months. With the T20 World Cup set to begin in November, Chahar’s participation is in doubt.
