“Kuldeep is really enriching the environment we are creating around him. We were very interested in getting him up for auction. Apparently, he should not have got the opportunity to have the quality of spinner with Chakraborty, Narine and even Shakib in KKR in a few seasons. He is one of the leading spinners in the IPL and is playing for his country. Ponting said at the post-match press conference.

For RCB, this is their fourth win in six matches in the Indian Premier League 2022 which has taken them to third place. This is their third defeat in five matches for Delhi.
