He reached his fifties by punching through a single cover by Glenn Maxwell in the 9th over of the innings.
- This was his 52nd IPL Fifty and his ninth against Royal Challengers Bangalore.
- Along with that, he also set a record as his ninth half-century against RCB is the second highest 50+ score against an opponent in the IPL.
- Surprisingly, Warner himself topped the list with a score of 11 50+ against the Punjab Kings.

After scoring 61 against the Kolkata Knight Riders in the previous game, Warner continued his form as he and Prithvi Shaw started the team on a burning note again. Warner Go started the attack with the word when he tackled the first delivery six in the innings.
With the opening partnership reaching 50, he kept looking for boundaries, with Warner himself scoring 32 off 15 balls. Soon Prithvi returned to the Shaw Pavilion and started building the Australian opener’s innings with Mitchell Marsh.
