PBKS defeated GT Highlights: Chasing 199 for victory, Mumbai Indians landed on a flyer and Rohit Sharma is in good touch. However, it soon fell into disarray and Rohit and Ishan were dismissed from consecutive overs as Mumbai went down to 32/2. Dewald Bravis and Tilak Verma then took the attack to the opposition, especially the former who hit Rahul Chahar for 29 in one over as MI came back right into the competition.
Bravis was soon dismissed for 49 but Suryakumar Yadav continued his form as Mumbai were on the hunt. However, Yadav got little support as MI needed 48 runs in four overs after Verma and Kieron Pollard went to the pavilion.
Surya took the game to the last over but Kagiso Rabadar’s long-on hold out put an end to all hopes of MI chase. MI needed 22 in the last Oden Smith over and Joydev Unadkat got off to a good start with a six, but the West Indies responded with 3 wickets to help the Kings win by 12 runs.

Earlier, Mayank Agarwal and Shikhar Dhawan put on a 96-run stand as the Punjab Kings dominated the bat at the MCA Stadium in Pune. Agarwal made the first fifty of IPL 2022, and Dhawan made a great 70 as Punjab looked good for a 200+ score.
However, Mumbai returned quickly with Dhawan, Johnny Bairstow and Liam Livingstone. However, young Jitesh Sharma joined the unbeaten 30 and Shah Rukh Khan also played some big hits later to help Punjab win the last match.
