Riddhiman Saha vs. Boriya Majumdar: A three-member panel comprising BCCI vice-president Rajiv Shukla, treasurer Arun Dhumal and Apex Council member Prabhatej Bhatia formed to probe Saha’s allegations.
The 37-year-old Bharat Batil appeared before the committee last month and the accused journalist Majumdar also presented their respective editions. Saha alleged that Majumdar had intimidated her into not giving him an interview. The BCCI is expected to close the issue at the Apex Council meeting
“Review of the report of the committee on the issue of Mr. Riddhiman Saha,” read item no. 4 in the agenda of the meeting held by PTI.

Majumdar claimed on his behalf that Saha had “physicized” him before posting WhatsApp screenshots of the chat with him on social media, sparking a huge controversy.
Saha, a centrally contracted player, posted multiple tweets on February 23 against the then-unnamed journalist, who was Majumdar.

South Africa’s head coach Rahul Dravid told Saha that he had no plans for anything else and that the classified information was leaked by the cricketer himself.
Saha has played 40 Tests since his debut in 2010 and has been in the team as a reserve wicketkeeper for the last few years, with Rishabh Pant becoming the number one choice in all situations.
Other items on the agenda of the seven-point meeting include “hosting fees and participation fees for multi-day tournaments and resolutions to update bank signatories”.

Members are also expected to finalize the venue for the knockout stages of the Ranji Trophy, which will be held after the Indian Premier League from May 30 to June 26.
Due to the Kovid-19 epidemic, the league stage of the tournament was held in February-March every two years.
