ICC Player of the Month – Babar Azam and Rachel Haynes named Player of the Month: In the just-concluded Benaud-Qadir Trophy, Azam finished as the third highest run-getter after Usman Khawaja and Abdullah Shafiq. In his five outs, he has scored 390 runs at an average of 78, including two half-centuries and a century. The highlight of the series was his 197-run save in the second innings of the second Test in Karachi.

Haynes ’contribution to the top of the order was the biggest positive for Australia throughout the 2022 ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup in New Zealand, which they won for the seventh time in early April.
