Ambati Rayudu has a great career in the IPL. Prior to playing against GT, he played in 180 matches and scored 3998 runs at an average of 29.30 in 168 innings, including a century and 21 half-centuries.
The 36-year-old is one of the most successful players in the league, having been part of a five-time title-winning team. He started his IPL career with Mumbai Indians and was part of the franchise from 2008 to 2018. He was with the team when they won their first three IPL titles.
He was then picked up by Chennai Super Kings in the 2018 auction and was instrumental in winning the team title the same year.
