“It’s great that Fernando wants to continue, and at the same time, we have an Oscar. Oscar is a wonderful young man. She is well prepared and very ambitious. We’re working hard with Oscar, if the opportunity arises, to put him in a Formula 1 car. We will give him that opportunity later this year because he will do some free practice for us. ” Alpine team boss Otmar Jafnauwar said.
“Besides, he does a lot of work for us in the simulator. He sees an up and forthcoming talent. As it is only April, there is no pressure on him to look for a seat. But there will be pressure in July. He explained in more detail.

Despite working incredibly well in Formula 1, the 21-year-old currently has no seats in the race because Esteban Okon and Fernando Alonso are the two Alpine drivers. However, some believe that experienced Alonso could end his F1 career later this season.
