IPL 2022: Clinical Sunrisers Hyderabad finally put an end to Gujarat Titans’ unbeaten streak, winning by 8 wickets: SRH beats GT Highlights in IPL 2022

SRH beats GT Highlights – IPL 2022: Ken Williamson and Abhishek Sharma got off to a cool start, scoring just 11 in the first four overs, before the pair opened with a boundary shake to end the powerplay at 42/0. Abhishek continued his great form from the last game and former SRH superstar Rashid Khan took the attack to Gujarat before hitting him to send the packing for 42 runs.

Williamson continued to anchor the innings and was joined by Rahul Tripathi, who played a brilliant cameo before retiring after battling Cramp. Nicholas Puran came off the ball and helped SRH closer to their goal, Williamson also crossed his fifties. Hardik Pandya then took another turn by dismissing Williamson, but it was not enough for Puran and Markram to efficiently chase them for their second consecutive win.

Earlier, Sunrisers Hyderabad hit three times in the first 10 overs to thank their bowlers for keeping the Gujarat Titans on their backfoot. Hardik Pandya anchored the innings but Striker Fancy Manohar didn’t get much support until he scored 35 runs in a quick fire. Hardik finally reached his half-century, but some great death bowling from Bhubaneswar Kumar and T Natarajan means Gujarat only collected 162 in their 20 overs, which did not prove to be enough in the end.
